I’m a landscape and cityscape photographer obsessed with finding the ‘perfect’ location, taking the perfect shot and then bringing it to life using the magic of subtle post-production techniques.
One of my favourite shots to date is the New York Panorama not just because of the subject matter and impressive skyline, but because of the amount of planning and research that went into preparing the shot and the post-production processes involved in replicating the scene.
Home is Hampshire, UK, so I’m blessed with the south coast, the New Forest and London all on my doorstep. It means I’m never short of somewhere new to explore to shoot. From busy cityscapes to colourful night scenes and tranquil coastal views, my photographic portfolio is as varied as the landscape around me.
The same as any self-respecting landscape photographer, I love to travel; my camera’s the first thing I pack after my passport.
I’m a bit of a thrill-seeker and if I can combine that with photography, so much the better - my perfect shoot would be American storms - twisters, lightning, wind and rain. If I could travel anywhere with just my camera for company, it would have to be Storm Alley in the US, though Dubai at night is also right at the top of my travel wish-list. Watch this space…
